Advice On Lotti's Spay Wound Again

I posted a few days ago about one of my kittens I had spayed 12 days ago.

After having to go back to the vets as the end of her wound came open a few days ago, it was loosely stapled again and took her home with some antibiotic tablets just in case.

Well has been a bit of a nightmare, after trying allsorts to stop her or her brother licking at it, after advice on here I left trying to put bad tasting things around it.

She has licked it a bit, but it just keeps opening as she will not stop playing and going scatty with her brother.

Back to vet who said was fine and took staple out, said would soon heal and as it had been near 14 days all will be healed up inside.

Thing is, it still has not healed up, and I can now see signs of what I am sure is pus.

Now it doesn't look red and inflamed yet. but should I worry? She has two days left of the antibiotics.

I have been bathing it with salt water solution, the vet advised if she made it bleed again.

Am I being a paranoid Mum. I have always had male cats, never a young un spayed gal before.

Yes, you should be worried. I'd take her back to the vet as it can abscess and then you've got a totally different problem.

Just to say Lotti's wound is now scabbed and hoping this is the end of a stressful 14 days.
