that Turtle loves to do. She will gnaw on my fingers. She never hurts me, but it's almost like a baby wanting to chew on something when they're cutting teeth. Surely she's not teething. She doesn't chew on anything else around here, (thank God) just her new mama. Was she taken from her kitty mama too soon? I have no idea. Before the shelter she was found in a box in an alley with all her siblings, all sick, and all passed away except this little soul.
It's probably not serious. It's been decades since I've had a cat so young, but don't ever remember one with such a finger-chewing-fetish.

My 11-week-olds love to chew on my fingers and toes. I don't play with them using my hands or feet, but they will just come up to me if I'm on the bed or whatever and start gnawing away. I haven't yet figured out how to get them to stop, as if I move my hands or feet, they think I'm playing and start a full-on attack.

Yes, I can understand that. I've never used my fingers or toes as toys. Now I'm remembering that her previous owner would dangle his fingers in front of her to play. I always warned him that he would regret doing that.

Carly will do that (8 years old). She will start liking my fingers and then chewing on them. The kittens (10 months old) also do it. I think it is something that they show affection with but I'm trying to stop them before they start.

I call them "love bites". Many of the dogs and cats we've had over the years have done it, and it's really hard to break them of it. Jamie (12) has been doing it all his life and usually purrs up a storm while lightly gnawing.

Darko does it, and he's a little over two years old now. Thing is, he didn't start doing it until he was over a year old! Now when he does it, I hand him an toothbrush and tell him to "chew away, and be sure to get those back teeth"

lol. Monet starts chewing lightly when he's feeling snuggly and I am petting him just right. I think its his way of saying "That feels good!"

I have no words of wisdom for you, but you might offer her straws to chew on instead of your finger.
