I have been hearing birds chirping for about a month now. I love the sound and last night I looked out my window to see if I could see a nest in one of the trees by my building. Imagine my surprise when I saw a nest under my air conditioner!! Of course I would never disturb the nest. I called my friend who knows alot about birds (she has 2) and she told me that they would fly away when they are able to and will probably be back next year. This is exciting to me and I love the chirping! Just thought I would share.

My brother and SIL have had birds nesting on top of their AC unit now for the third year. Their cat loves it!
They don't run the unit until the babies fly away.

We're on our second year now of birds nesting above our outside house light. I haven't heard babies.....yet. The cats are very intrigued. They can hear the birds, but they can't see them.

I could try to take pictures with my camera phone, I don't know what kind of birds I just think it's amazing because there is only a couple inches of space between the window ledge and the a/c. Yes will keep track of them and they are chirping right now

I'm hoping this isn't an ac in your bedroom window. That happened to us once and, while I love birds, I truly didn't need all the peeping 4 feet from my bed at 5 a.m. Baby birds can make a whole lot of noise!
It is quite an experience to watch them grow.
