Not Getting Notices re: Posts/Replies

I didn't know exactly where to post this, but I'm sure some helpful mod or member will know. I'm subscribed to several threads, but for a few days now I haven't been getting an email notice when another member posts or replies to those threads. I always check the little box for instant email notification: I've always received them before, and I've checked my spam filters--no emails there from TCS. Anyone have any ideas?

When you go to your User CP and look at "List Subscriptions", does it say "Instant" under "Notification"? Have you tried unsubscribing and then subscribing again?
There's a drop-down menu next to "Selected Threads" in the Subscribed Threads box. If you check the threads in the box, and then choose "Instant email notification" in the drop-down menu, it might give it a jump-start.

If all else fails, log out and then log back in again. Sometimes that helps with glitches.

Ok, jcat--I've tried everything you suggested.
I logged out and logged back in.
I've gone to different threads, unsubscribed, then subscribed again.
Gone to the User CP. All my subscriptions were listed as 'instant' under 'notification', but the boxes after them wweren't checked. I checked the box, so that all subscriptions were check-marked, used the drop down menu to choose 'instant email notification', clicked 'go'. When the page refreshed, the boxes were unchecked. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I will have one of the admins look at it closer.

Thanks so much! I didn't get a notice that Katachtig had replied to my 2nd post, so I know the problem wasn't fixed by any of the attempts I made.

It's not just you. I think there is a small glitch in the system, which happens form time to time. I haven't been getting them either.

So how strange is this: I got an email notice of a reply to a thread that hadn't had any posts since December! Sitting here scratching my head.

It does seem to be working again because I got a few notifications overnight. From past experience, usually when this glitch gets ironed out you will get some really old notifications that were stuck in the system.

I think it may be ok now, too; I've received some notifications this morning for other threads. Got my fingers crossed.
