Good Morning

I was recently able to fix my phone and I started thinking:

Do you like to try to fix things yourself, or would you rather take them to someone else

I usually try to fix things myself, but if it's something delicate that I don't know too much about, I will take it to someone else.

Good morning!

Really depends what it is. I can take apart, alter, replace, or resew anything that's made with fabric; I'm pretty handy with the small things around the house like refinishing furniture, gluing, fixing, replacing, or painting.

But I never hesitate to call in the professionals for the important stuff or for the things I know nothing about (furnace, electrical, etc.).

It depends on the item. Most things I'd rather let a professional do. Especally if it's something like electricity or plumbing or home repairs lol

Usually fix things myself. I get a feeling of accomplishment
I can work on cars pretty well, and have replaced the battery on my jetski
When it comes to computers though, I'm lost!

I am not a real handy type of person so it really depends on what it is. I usually take it somewhere to be repaired because I'm afraid I'll do more harm than good

I would prefer to take them to someone else to get fixed if my DH can't do it. Although, he usually fixes everything and even adds a good temper at times along with the job.

I totally try to fix things myself if possible! I have found that most things I can't fix myself end up being not worth fixing, but need to be replaced........

I don't mind fixing some things if I know what I'm doing, but if I'm clueless I'd rather let someone else do it or take it to a shop to have it done. When it comes to computers, I don't like messing with them cuz I'm computer illiterate, and I don't want to take a chance of making it worse than it already is.
This would be me if left to my own devices when it comes to computers:

Usually if something is broken I can't afford to get it fixed or replace it and I have no idea how to do it myself
With the house -- it's professionals

We would rather repair things ourselves, but if it's something we don't feel comfortable doing, we'll call the repair weenies, esp if it's related to the house.
