Yesterday, on his way to work and under heavy rainfall, my son found this precious but very wet kitten crying in the sidewalk. I think I will name him (or her) - Roku - Japanese for #6 since he is the sixth orphan found.
My only concern now is my dog who seems to think Roku is either a rat or a toy. The dog is kind of rough with the kitten. The other cats are beginning to get upset because of the dog's behavior.
It's been less than 24 hours. Roku has eaten and done his toilet. Will bring him to the vet tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

oh my goodness, what a tiny little thing! good vibes for him and I bet once Roku learns to defend him or herself from the pup, he'll learn to keep his distance!

Awww, poor thing. She's so tiny! (If she's a tortie [black&red] which the pic makes her look like, she's very likely a girl). Thank you for rescuing the little kitteh and vibes for the vet visit and the dog to calm down a bit.
