Morning all and TGIF!

Still not feeling too good but I guess I feel better than I have been, which hopefully means I'm on the mend. Not matter what though, we're going camping this weekend!!! I have everything pretty much ready, so that after work we should be able to just go. Leaving the key for mom so that she can come in and feed the kitties, check on the fosters, do litter boxes, etc. I know I probably shouldn't go where I am sick, but guys we're camping addicts... We've been wanting to go the past 3 weekends but it's been raining! Nothing makes me feel better than being outdoors, so we're going for it. Oak Bay Campground here we come! It's where Dana first told me he was falling in love with me almost 3 years ago now.

Morning friends!

TGIF, indeed! It's a beautiful sunny and coolish morning here, such a change from our stifling heat and humidity of last week.

We're going to visit with friends on Saturday night; my GF has completely gutted her kitchen and is starting over. I'm anxious to see what she's finished thus far. We'll be grilling something for dinner and she told me to bring a salad. So I'll prepare that in the morning and make one of my salad dressings to take along. I'm taking some homemade breadsticks as well. We can wrap them in foil and throw them on the grill.

Other than that, we'll spend the weekend working outside. I want to clean out some areas right around the pool and replant some hosta and blue catmint. And my sister gave me some red and yellow cannas that need to be planted as they're starting to sprout.

Aw, Kailie! How sweet! Hope you two have a great time!

Kailie!!! Have a great time, you deserve the break (sick or not, I would go too). I am not a big camping/tent fan though . Unless it is in one of those large campers, RV, or other with a bathroom. Post pictures if you get any

I really should get started with my day instead of posting . Have lots of cleaning to do, workout, errands, etc. OH and laundry!!!!!!!!!

Morning... nice day out so far, kind of humid actually though. I heard on the news it might RAIN tomorrow night??? RAIN IN JUNE????? Insanity. Just.... crazy.

Not a whole lot planned for today, I have a few errands to run and maybe some gardening. One of BF's coworkers is comingover after work to check out our kegerator, because he's thinking of getting one for his 'cabin' in Big Bear. I put that in quotes becuase it's like twice as big as our house! Hardly a rustic back woods cabin. Anyway, I'll either go buy a few snacks for this evening, or maybe make up something. Actually, I should make something, but what?......... I'll think about it.

Having a VERY frustrating day at work today!!!

Hope everyone else's day is much better!!!

For anyone who likes country music, Brad Paisley is going to be in Virginia Beach tonight (about 1.5 hours from me) - I'm not going, unfortunately, but I share the excitement of those who are!

Hmmm... still mad. I'm going to go look at the kitty pictures forum and cheer up a bit!

Good afternoon!

Thought I was feeling better today - just had a cough after being sick all week. Took some codeine cough syrup and knocked myself out for a few extra hours this morning then went off to gymnastics. After stretching and two back walkovers, I was DONE! Thought I was going to pass out So I sat the rest of the class and watched my friend do beautifully. I wanted sooo bad to join again but hate that light headed feeling. Argh thought I'd be okay to have some fun for once this week!

Just had a buffalo chicken sub from Subway (with added blue cheese dressing from home!) So not healthy, but when i dont feel great I tend to eat stuff that's not great for me

Date night for us later tonight, yay! For now, I'm just going to relax in my cool, dim house. It's about 95 and humid out, yuck, not even summer yet! Was going to mow the lawn and get a tan, but my FIL is out there doing that and I'm just not up to it!

Also my 4 feral kittens are doing great - 3 of them love me and one is seeming to warm up a little more than 2 weeks ago. I think I'm gonna have a hard time letting them go, even though when I first took them in I thought I'd be okay with it! I kind of want to keep one ....!
