Ooooooh - windows!

Today Simon & Garfunkel discovered the windows in my apartment. I tied up the curtains a few weeks ago (due to aforementioned climbing/swinging) but have left the blinds down basically since they got here May 1, due to the heat! This evening things cooled off so I lifted the blinds & tossed 'em up onto the sills!

(Sorry some of the photos are blurry - taken with a hard-to-keep-steady iPhone4!)

Oh, hm... where are we?



What is this thing? (Though, knowing Garfunkel, he was going for the tied-up curtains, .)



Getting comfy... checking things out...



OMG, there's STUFFS out there!



First vehicle sighting... synchronized sniper scopes!



And the target moves into range...



I couldn't catch any more of them at the window, but just for good luck, here's my cute little guys snoozing all snuggled up:

Thanks everyone

They are firmly in the "Awwww, so cute" alternating with "OMG YOU ARE A TERRORIST" stage of their kitten life - so I have to put up these cute pictures to remind me sometimes when the sting of pain from claws on my bare back is still smarting...

Aww, they are such cute little troublemakers! I bet they are loving watching the world outside. In our apartment we didn't have windowsills, so Genever couldn't look outside. When we bought the house last summer, she was so happy! She and especially Dorothy are always at a window or door, keeping an eye on the neighborhood.

That snuggle pic is the best.

Yup, windows are definitely "cat TV". Its too hot to not have the blinds, but what I do is just lift them so they have just enough space to sit. They don't mess with the blinds this way, and we're both happy.

They're so cute! We've got roll-down shutters, and no way can we close them completely no matter how hot/cold it is - Jamie vociferously objects. He's got some window seats and spends hours there watching the neighbors, birds, etc..
