Just wanted to wish my sweet, sweet baby girl, Katie, a Happy 18th Birthday!!!
Katie has been part of my life since she was six 6 weeks old, found as an orphaned kitten in Belgium, where I was stationed in the Army at the time. She's my first cat and my first pet as an adult, so is very, very special to me. Katie is in good health for her age, aside from hypertension (for which she gets daily meds) and is in very early stage renal failure. She's very picky about what kind of cat food she eats but, as you can see from the picture, doesn't hesitate to help herself to people food. This pic is from last fall - she actually opened the container herself and started to chow down.
That's my girl!
I couldn't love her more.
