hello everyone:
I used to rescue lots of kittens and found homes for them, but after Lucas started getting sick I decided not to do it anymore. But today at 3pm an 8 year old girl, the daugher of a friend, called me crying because she rescued a kitten from drowning , it was raining so hard there was a water current in front of her house and she saw the tiny kitten being swept away. She took him out of the water and asked her parents fro help, sadly, they hate cats and she was crying and nobody helped , she even went to a neighbor for help, but nobody helped, in fact the neighbor told her to leve the cat in the water.
So, she called me. Isn't she great? I"m so proud of her. I couldn't say no, I went to her and took the kitten who was frozen and looked dead, I couldn't even tell is he was breathing. I put a towel around him and turned on the heating pad and gave him a massage and he started perking up.
He made it! He is doing good, it's been only 4 hours since he's been here and he looks great, I gave him some formula and he is now sleeping. The poor thing!
I wish the little girl's parents supported her more, she loves animals. She is calling me every two hours to ask how he is doing. I have him in the ouside bathroom, can't have him near my other kitties, I will keep him here until he is ready to go to a new home. he is so tiny!!
Here is Moses (because he came from the water)
