Hi
Those of you who have read previous messages will know that my rescue cat Snuggles is 2 years old. She has now been with me for three weeks and I have just, in the last 2 days, started allowing her to explore in our enclosed garden. It was during this adventure that I became suspicious that she had never been out before. I have talked to the RSPCA where I adopted her from and they told me that the lady who had her before hand reared her and she was a pampered princess, but was an indoor cat. As happy as I am to have keep that status quo in her life, she loves outside and is free to roam from the garden to the house as she wishes. What does concern me is that being so NOT streetwise, she is like a kitten! she does not understand that the Terriers ( one is a staffordshire ) are not friends! Does anyone have any advice to help keep my baby safe? Denying access now she knows about it is not an option as she adore chasing flies, watching birds, running around in the grass, watching the fish in our pond and having all sorts of adventures, although will always be on the look out to make sure im close by...which of course I am, and would not leave her out alone if I wasnt home.
Thank you guys.
Sue and Snuggles
