Purchasing Colored Username Not Working Properly

I just tried changing the color of my username, but it's not working properly - even though I typed it in exactly as I wanted it to be. At first I tried the cyan color which ended up black, then I tried the magenta which showed up green. I'd really like to have the cyan color: can a mod change it to that for me? I'd also like to please get a refund of the points I wasted in trying to change the color (over 5000 in all).

I'm seeing the cyan properly. I would recommend cleaning out your browser's cache. I will send you some points for a refund.

Too me it looks green. Maybe it has to do with Firefox: it never has seemed to work properly when it come to stuff like this. I noticed that the glow username, etc. that I purchased doesn't show up either - but it will when I use Internet Explorer.

Is the cache the same thing as browser history?

The color appearance is affected by your browser and your monitor so the colors may not appear as you expect them.

The Glow option is not supported by Firefox. I gave details about this here.

What browser versions are you using? Each one seems to have a different way of clearing the cache. For example, FireFox 4, select "Clear Recent History" from the "Tools" menu and you will see cache as one of the options.

I haven't figured out IE 9 yet.

I never knew that. I only found that out after I switched from IE to FF. I "paid" for the glow option while I was still using IE.

I also never saw that link: thanks for posting it. It will come in handy, I think.

I'm using FF4. I cleared the cache but don't notice any difference.
