Morning all, and happy Memorial Day to all of my American friends!

Dana and I have the day off as our accounts are American. The sun is supposed to come out here anytime and it is supposed to be a decent day so I can't wait to get out and enjoy it.

On another exciting note, my Saint John Sea Dogs WON the Memorial Cup!!!!!!!!!! The very first Maritime team to do so! SOOO proud of these guys!!

for the Sea Dogs, HOW exciting for you. Makes for an extra special day then for you and Dana

So far, Larry and I have done nothing but relax today.... We are about to go out for some grocery store shopping and want to make something yummy for dinner. Oh, did make a big batch of brownies this morning and have some ice cream and carmel topping. I guess Memorial Day dessert will be the best

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause offense, I was just trying to be polite to my American friends. I do understand what Memorial Day is about as we have Remembrance Day here in Canada. There are some things to be happy about, be happy that you have your freedom and yes, remember those who made that all possible, but that doesn't mean that you can't be happy for all of life's blessings.
