Brown.

I'm not much of a tea or coffee drinker - although I do like cappuccino - especially English Toffee.

My son got me hooked on those Monster Javas, too.

Sure do!

4. If you could live anyplace in the WORLD (and take Jason and your grandaughter with, of course) where would that be?

Probably Bora-Bora, or somewhere similar.

5. Do you like CHEESE?

Now, do you really have to ask a Cheesehead that?

Actually, I DO like cheese: I could eat it every day - especially Wisconsin cheese!

No.

White when it falls from the sky - brown & black when it turns into slush.

Well, they've certainly been bombarding you with questions, I see. Thanks for some thoughtful answers yesterday, and here comes today's set. Food and such -- I debated with myself about editing the set to eliminate overlaps with other questions, but I think I'll just let you deal with duplicates as you will...

Not a coffee drinker, but I do like cappuccino - especially English Toffee. If I do have an occasional cup of coffee, I'll use Hazelnut creamer.

The heat, and thunderstorms!

The bugs!

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll survive the week!

I really don't enjoy cooking, but I do it. It's more of a chore to me than pleasure.

I'd rather cook alone. Anyone who wants to cook in my kitchen is welcome to it - as long as they cook something for me, too!

Anything microwavable.

Home-made enchiladas - prepared by my mom.

She can cook anything and do it so well!

Anything I know I'm not supposed to have.

6. What is your favourite celebration food?

Don't have a particular one.

Anything that I have a craving for at the time...

7. When people come to my table, I always ask first whether there are any allergies/sensitivities/likes/dislikes I should keep in mind. If you came to my home, what would your answer be?

No allergies to anything, but I don't like spinach, and I'm not crazy about fish - although I will eat some fish. I won't eat deer meat, either.

Other than that, I'm not too fussy about what I eat - and the scale proves it.

8. Do you consider yourself adventurous where unfamiliar food is concerned?

Uh-uhh - no way! I'm not gonna stick anything in my mouth if I don't know what it is!

9. What is your favourite meal of the day?

I only eat one meal a day, which I guess would be considered a combination of lunch/dinner since I eat the meal around 3 P.M. I snack the rest of the day if I get hungry...

All were rescues: I got Geronimo from my former vet's office. They didn't like him: they called him Lucifer.

I got Winchester from a friend of mine who I used to work with. Someone threw him out their car window into my friend's front yard.

They didn't want another cat, so I took him in. I've never regretted it: he's such a sweet, loving cat.

Spencer was a feral living in the Wal-Mart parking lot. My roommate brought him home one day cuz he felt sorry for the poor guy (this coming from the same guy who told ME - "no more cats!"

).

Gabriel was rescued from the animal shelter back in Wisconsin (both him & my precious Maverick, the love of my life kitty

). They both came with me when I moved to Texas.

BlackJack was also another rescue: I got him from PetFinder, after losing Maverick. He reminded me so much of Maverick that I drove 100 miles to adopt him. It turns out that not only does he resemble Maverick, he also has a purrsonality so much like Maverick that it's downright spooky!

He even likes to burrow under the covers with me like Maverick did.

Samurai was one of my strays: I took him in after he became sick, and didn't have the heart to put him back out after he got better: he kinda stole my heart.

It ended up being better that I did end up keeping him, cuz as it turns out, he's one of my FIP cats and needs continuous medical attention.

Ricochet, Jinxy, Cassidy, & Chiquita are all Salem's offspring. I rescued her from our abusive neighbors, who weren't taking care of her properly and kept allowing her to get pregnant time & time again.

I ended up keeping all the babies, cuz we couldn't find good homes for them, and Jinxy & Cassidy have birth defects which made it more difficult to adopt them out. I don't regret keeping them all for one second though.

They're all such sweethearts - although Chiquita can be quite standoffish.

It won't do you any good: I'm never up before 9 A.M.!

I usually go to bed around 1 a.m., and get up around 9 a.m. -- except when I'm in front of the firing squad. Then I have to go to bed earlier cuz I'm all tuckered out!

2. Do your kitties sleep with you?

They used to all sleep with me, but now they kinda take turns as I sleep in a single hospital bed (for my back) and there isn't much extra room.

I really miss them all cuddling up with me.

Geronimo used to make sure that he was there all night long, but now he's rarely there cuz he's too jealous of the other cats, and doen't like sharing his meowmy.

Samurai & BlackJack could care less about if whether or not the others are on the bed, and are always there: Samurai sleeps next to my side, and BlackJack above my head next to my pillow. Ricochet & Chiquita takes turns on the foot of my bed. The rest of them just come & go at will during the night - except for Gabriel & Salem. Salem is "daddy's little girl" and always sleeps with Randall: Gabriel is a grumpy old man and prefers being alone. Jinxy comes & goes, and Cassidy rarely comes around to sleep with me anymore cuz Geronimo is always chasing her off.

Spencer will sometimes sleep next to my pillow if BlackJack isn't there.

Are you kidding?

Neither!

4. Pancakes or Waffles?

I prefer pancakes.

5. Do you like CHEESE on your burgers and sandwiches???

Of course! I'm from Wisconsin! Cheese is a staple!

I used to watch General Hospital faithfully (I'd even record it so I wouldn't miss it when I was working

), but kinda lost interest after the Luke & Laura storyline fizzled.

Nothing. I don't eat breakfast.

A lot better!

But now I'm having headaches from answering all these questions!

I once sang Over the Rainbow in a musical my church had. I'm not quite sure I sang it too well, since I can't carry a tune, but no one got up and left so I guess I wasn't too horrible. Or maybe they were just being polite.
