i got 2 adopted

i got 9 cats of my own, 3 parking lot strays and 4 neighborhood strays i'm taking care of. i talked a friend of mine that was visiting from South Lake Tahoe into adopting Daisy, a 6 year old orange kitty that had been living in the garage since october. a few days before he left he asked if he could take Pete, a big gray boy with white paws & chest too. of course he could. not only did they get adopted but it's someone i know that will take very good care of them.
except the garage feels very empty, but i can live with that

Yay! That's great news! Daisy and Pete are lucky kitties. It's never easy to get adult cats adopted so when you get two into a good home that is really great!

Great news! Many small steps together and voilá!

Sometimes it may even be possible to take two big steps forward at once!

What luck and to have your friend end up taking two of the strays you have been caring for is just a fantastic chain of events. I am sure you will miss them and that garage feels empty, but the kitties sound like they will have a fantastic life with your friend. And now if you need your garage to rescue again, it will be available..... You will also be able to here from your friend often on how Daisy and Pete are doing and adjusting.
