Please wish me luck - or calm nerves! Off to the vet

For rabies shots and semi-annual senior panels. My vet is five minutes away, so taking one at 2:00 pm then the other at 3:00...assuming I can catch them! It'll all be worth it, especially if we get the hoped for 'all good' reports but I admit this is when I envy dog owners whose pets like going for rides! Thanks much!

Those wonderful TCS good wishes came through again! Tricked Dharma into the carrier with some turkey and, when I got home and opened the Sherpa bag to let her out, my Dante was so curious he popped in right after she got out - and I zipped up the bag quickly!!!

Probably won't get the test results til Tuesday, but both vets said preliminarily all looked good. I do have to take Dante in around Labor Day for an anal gland check/expression....didn't need it right now but probably will by end of summer. They even got urine out of Dante (my crystal kitty).

I've got to say I admire vets for their patience - with both nervous kitties and a nervous mommy!

Again, thanks for your good thoughts and now I'm just thinking that all will be well with the tests - I just want to be proactive with testing now that they're entering their 'mature' years.

Glad to hear everything went well and you rounded your kits up without a big problem and they are in good health. I know what a huge problem it can be getting the kits in the carrier.

Thanks again to all. Everyone seems pretty good today and Dante even slept in one of the Sherpa bags. Dharma's been napping under the dining room table - she may still be wondering if I'm going to sweep her up for another nasty car ride.

Glad all went well at the vet. for tests to be normal. I, too, am waiting for blood tests from Pipsqueak. Will be thinking of you too
