Maybe because this is what our play sessions tend to look like (video):

To be fair, she DID chase Da Bird for 10-15 minutes before I got the camera...

That's hilarious! But remember? We all said Holland's not fat, she's a gorgous curvy lady.

Genever tends to be like that, getting disinterested in playing pretty quickly, but she's a skinny minnie. Dorothy, on the other hand, plays like crazy! She plays with wand toys til BF or I get tired of it, and she also plays A LOT on her own, running all over the place, batting around toys, day and night. And SHE is the round --sorry, curvy-- one. How does that work out??

Are you calling her fat because she's being lazy or because she's a larger size than she was before?
If you are free-feeding dry, that could be the culprit. *shrugs*..

No, I don't really think she's fat. I posted a couple weeks ago about her recent vet visit where she - for the first time EVER - was not underweight.
She's healthy, but the vet doesn't want to see her gain any more weight.

The "culprit", as it were, was getting her teeth fixed (pulled) last February. She started playing a lot more, and apparently eating better than before her surgery, and she's gained about 2 1/2 pounds in the last 15 months. But she's still lazy so I tease her about being my chunky monkey...

When Holland is done playing........she's done playing! No ifs, ands, or buts about it, she's done!
