its still technically Wed. here, but I am up and not feeling well so I figured I best get er done

Todays question:

How many times have you been sick this year? As in, caught a cold/virus/infection ?

Do you generally get sick a lot or once in a while?

Do you care for yourself any differently when you are sick?

I've been sick once. It was the first time in a long time!! First real sickness anyway! I don't consider myself sick if I'm just feeling a little unwell. So I ignore it.

Since I'm a Mommy....and a stay at home one...apparently I'm not allowed to be sick. So I tried to rest more when I could. One day my Mom came and I took a gloriously long nap. It helped a lot! Napping when my little one naps is not nearly as relaxing as when you know someone more than capable is at the wheel!

I had a bad cold that wouldn't go away, I had pink eye, wisdom tooth infection, finally needed antibiotics for my tooth, then another antibiotic and puffers for my cold. I got the pukey flu.....then I got the high fever and diarhhea flu....

It's been a LONG winter, I usually never get sick!

I usually get colds ALL the time, but so far this year I have only had one! *knock on wood* I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that I have been working from home more often, so I'm not as exposed to all of the germs in the office. It's like a wave of sickness in that place.

I get the flu shot yearly, so it's been a LONG time since I've had a flu. When I am sick I tend to drink a lot of herbal tea, take vitamin C and echinacea.

Well for 2011 I have been sick 3 times. twice a flu and recently a cold. i am a HUGE baby when im sick. I try not to take anything though as i DESPISE any and all medication. lol. Although i have just been diagnosed with the best sickness any woman can have!!

Haven't been sick this year, unless you count the non-stop allergies and the odd weather related migraine.

No colds this year, but lots of allergic sneezing and whatnot. I don't think I've gotten sick (besides stomach things, which may or may not be germ-related, not sure still) for close to 2 years. The first 2 years I lived in Cali I seemed to get a cold every few months. Now my immune system's ridiculous and hyper and I seem to fend off other people's colds.

I have not been sick once this year: in fact, I haven't been sick in about 5 years. I have been having a lot of problems with erractic blood pressure problems which cause me to feel pretty lousy, but haven't had the flu or anything like that. I don't do anything differently when I get sick, except try getting more rest. Someone has to take care of the furkids! It's not like I get any help from the couch potato.
