Looks like I'll be getting three new little foster kittens tomorrow evening.

The rescue has three little ones, just 7 weeks old, who were born to a feral mom and are still rather feisty. The director feels a few weeks in a foster home home with some more intensive socialization will bring them around. There's one little boy (white) and two girls (both calicos). I'll be picking them up tomorrow evening and my current foster, Evie, will go back to the rescue for the time being.

Can't wait to get the babies home. Pics coming soon!

Thanks for the vibes. I'll miss Evie, but she'll be okay and get plenty of attention from all the volunteers. They've missed her from what I've heard. She would have been going back to the rescue at the end of June anyway while I'm out of town, so this just pushes things up a little bit. She'll also get more visibility at the rescue and will come back to me after my trip if not already adopted.

Aww, good luck Eileen! At least they're young, so that's helpful!

I'm currently fostering a sweet mom and seven social babies...what a treat for a change!

Aww, I'm sure you will do wonders with the little ones to teach them kitty manners. And show them tons of love of course!! Looking forward to the photos, and best wishes for a quick adoption for Evie!!

Yes, Rueben, the little boy is white. Unfortunately, he won't be mine to foster. The receptionist at our spay/neuter clinic wants to take him home to foster herself. Personally, I wouldn't split up the litter, but it's not my decision. He'll be in good hands, though.

The two little girls are named Quinn and Cerese, who's actually more of a patched tabby than calico. I've been told they need a lot of cuddling from me and guidance from a big kitty role model (that would be my Pete). He loves kittens (once he's over being afraid of them).
The kittens have already had their first shots and been tested, so no issues with introducing them to mine. Picking them up after work!

The baby girls are here!
They're still pretty hissy, but very, very sweet and curious. Posted a pic on FB. Will post some here tonight.

Pics are coming, I promise...over the weekend for sure. The little girls are too cute!
So far, Quinn seems to be the more adventurous of the two and Cherese the more vocal. They're not hissing quite as much - only if they remember to - and it's no problem handling either of them. Despite the hissing, they both love being held. Cherese was totally sacked out on my lap as we watched TV last night.

Have I mentioned how cute they are?
