Cat Walking With Head Bent

Hello cat lovers,
There are several cat at our office that we are trying to catch to spay/neuter (and we have homes for four of them). One of them (we call her Cha-Cha) walked up today with her head bent at an angle. She seemed groggy because she typically runs away when i get too close. I got closer to her than ever and then she kind of trotted off instead of running quickly.

I've seen this before and the cat was bitten by a snake.

Does anyone here have any other observations?

Thank you.

I'm not sure, but it could also be an abscess on her neck, an ear problem, or many other things. Do you have a trap to catch her with? It sounds like she needs to be trapped, sedated and treated ASAP.

Good on you for helping these kitties, it's a wonderful thing you're doing

Thanks for the response. I have a trap, but it did not come with all the pieces (per the instructions), so I have to figure that out as soon as i can. We have a vet lined up.

Guess i just wanted a little moral support because I feel kind of powerless...

I'll let the thread know if I can get her to the vet.

Any update on Cha-Cha? Her symptoms does not sound good. If you don't have a trap you can always check with local shelters and animal control to see if they have one you can borrow or rent.
