Morning all!

Well it was back to work today after my vacation... It is CRAZY here too as I'm backing a lot of people up who took the day off and I'm dealing with a ton of escalations. Not a great first day back at all.

After work we're going out to eat at Montana's, as the woman who adopted Persi from us gave us a $30 gift card!! It was so sweet and unexpected!

Tonight we'll be watching the Saint John Sea Dogs play their second game in the Memorial Cup. They won their first game, so hopefully they can keep it up and bring home the cup!

WOW Have fun tonight Kailie at dinner, what a nice gift

Today the Springs rains have arrived after a long night of strong thunderstorms. Rain, rain and more rain. I told you guys it would come my way.

Lots of house-cleaning to get done, making a stew for dinner. I like to make a large meal on Monday's, that way we have leftovers for a couple of night. Some dogs to walk (in the rain ) mid-day. Plus fitting in my usual workout.

Morning... I am STILL battling a stomach thing that hit me on Friday afternoon. Or maybe it's something else, because I was pretty much ok yesterday, til last night. Anyway, it's not fun.

Also I'm waiting for the DirecTV tech to come out to hopefully fix our TV which has been freezing up off and on since Wednesday. I got a call saying they should be here in about a half hour. I hope it doesn't take long, because I just want to get back in my PJs and get on the sofa and nap and rest and get better. And it'd be kinda cool if I had the TV to help. But if not, there's always Instant Netflix.

Genever and Dorothy are going mad! I don't know what's gotten into them but they are running all over the place. It's making me smile anyway.

Oh, and that terrible tornado that hit Joplin, MO yesterday is cause for concern, BF's company has a big shop there, I hope they're all alright! It looks just awful. 89 people killed!

Well, I think that's about it for me for today, no plans to leave the house with my unstable tummy... no plans to try out some new recipe or anything either, for the same reason. Maybe a light veggie soup later on. Maybe.

Afternoon all!

Have the day off except for a meeting this morning. But with 1" of rain yesterday afternoon and 3/4" Sat afternoon its a bit soggy to do any landscaping. Think I'm going to be busy planting next weekend as I have several hundred dollars of annuals to plant for clients.

So I'm trying to get stuff done around the house-almost done washing windows. The house needs some serious cleaning and iron needs to be done. Just taking a lunch break now!

Bakker is by me on the sofa the other two outside trying to enjoy some sun here and there between the clouds.

Have to make some sort of casserole for lunches this week and have pork chops thawing for dinner.

Nothing else too exciting for a Monday!
