Hello!

Hi all, I am new to this message board but not new to message boards. I hand out on a horse one. Horse forums get quite fierce.

Anyways, I love cats. Even though I grew up riding I always said cats were my favorite animal. You can't cuddle with a horse in bed or watching tv! I have about a billion cat stories. And honestly I can understand not having cats as your favorite animal but I cannot understand hating them. I think some people just don't let themselves get to know a cat.

I own one cat and my husband one cat. My cat is Himalayan cross who knows what (my mom purchased her from someone who claimed she was purebred but a "throw-back". My mom didn't know what Himalayan cats looked like and frankly she didn't care as for whatever reason cats were scarce at the time).

My husband's cat was from a friend who couldn't say know to two kittens in a box looking for homes. My husband then boyfriend had never had a cat before so I took one for him. He is a serious cat lover like me and I think it was the second best gift i ever gave him. Our 16month old daughter is the best lol.

We have a whole album on our computer of just cat pictures. Actually I feel like I am at a meeting right now...

Hi and wleocme to the forum! I'm new here too. hehe.. Cute cats. IT seems like Cleopatra is a common name for a cat. XD

It is hard. Specially since cleo, the torby, sleeps under the covers right next to you at night. Tirzah sleeps at my feet. Sounds sweet but sometimes when I wake up and my foot has come out from under the covers I find her wrapped around it. If I so much as move she attacks. She actually used to stalk my feet all the time but now she leaves it to night time when I am vulnerable.

We always call her Cleo. My husband named her Cleopatra because he wanted to give her a name that matched Tirzah's. So it wouldn't be something like "tirzah and fluffy"

Welcome!!! I know you from another board where we both have different names. I put it all together when I saw the same pic of the barn kittens, which, btw, are just lovely kitties, and your house cats are too.
