Brown mystery kitten! - Page 2

She's beautiful. I would definitely try entering her in some HHP shows! If you need help with that or have questions, the people on this board were very helpful to me when I started showing my HHPs.

As far as the color, it is also possible that it could be due to a random mutation rather than being inherited from the parents/from a specific breed. From what I've read it only takes one nucleotide to be altered to result in a brown/chocolate coat color.

Well thanks everyone! She is an awesome kitten. I think we will try HHP showing when she's a bit older, sounds like a blast...

WOWZA!!!! She is stunning... maybe she does have a "smoke" coat. Either way, she is a unique and darling little baby!!

Kiwi's pics prove that 'different' is sometimes breathtakingly gorgeous

Love her!

I'd say Havana brown and a brown tabby, she looks exactly like a havana brown then with the light markings.

What an absolutely beautiful cat! Congratulations

aww what a cutie!

She looks like she sorta has tabby stripes hidden on her. I have seen chocolate coloured kittens before when volunteering at the spca so i doubt she's unhealthy. The kitten I just bought two weeks ago looks very similar to yours, but she's longhaired and has bits of orange and white on her (very cool pattern, kinda looks like a diluted torbie). Not sure what breeds she has in her either. You may be able to find a DNA test you could get her to take if you really really wanted to know haha.

I'm sorry I cannot suggest whatever her breed is but She is PERFECT so Pretty
