Yesterday my daughter had her belated birthday party. While not on the schedule, all the girls seemed to show up either bringing their swimsuits or actually wearing them under their clothes.
So, after bowling, eating and doing a craft back at home, they ended up in our pool.
Brillo and Felix ran for the hills and wanted nothing to do with the 5 active girls. Ziggy, OTOH, wanted EVERYTHING to do with them. He inspected their shoes, socks and clothes that they left lying around. He tested all of the picnic tables and chairs "for safety." He made "the rounds" about every 10 minutes for scritches. And lastly, he played "lifeguard" and patroled the pool as they swam!
It was SO CUTE (and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a photo!)
Poor Felix still isn't back to normal. And with Brillo being a former showcat, I'm surprised she wasn't more friendly. Guess Ziggy is my social boy!
