I have a lot of "favorites." Depends on when it is, etc.

"David's" is a local fish/seafood place. Love their stuffed tilapia. Dottie gets the cheesy flounder.

"Bamboo Palace" is a Chinese buffet, considered one of the best in the Metroplex. Lunch there is unbelievable, and it's not much more than a burger, fries, and drink.

"Macaroni Grill," because Dottie owns stock in it, and because you can design your own pasta dish. But it has all the atmosphere of a train station. They severely need design help.

"The Melting Pot," because we got to really like fondue while we lived in France.

"Cheddars," because they have very good hamburgers.

"Salt Grass," because they have great prime rib.

And there are more, believe me!

Mackenzie River Pizza!

The Red Door Pan Asian Grill. All manner of Asian cuisines, all fabulous, with awesome service. Doesn't even break the bank -- for what you get.

It depends on the price range really.

I really like The Keg.
The food at Moxie's is good, but the service sucks.
I like Olive Garden's food but the atmosphere is too loud for my liking.
For fine dining, I really enjoy "Ray and Jerry's" and "Hy's Steakhouse"
For affordable good old family meals I really like Salisbury House

Cheescake Factory. Don't go there too often, but that would be my favorite!!!

There is a country kitchen type restaurant in a nearby town called Hilda's. They have the best fried chicken, collards, and sweet potatoes in the world and all for about $5.95 per plate.

We like the Macaroni Grill, too. The decor in ours isn't too bad, but ours is fairly new.

I love the French Onion Soup at Outback.

Casa Sanchez is a local Mexican restaurant that has excellent food. But I go there for the margaritas! Love my tequlia!

BJs is a local steak and rib restaurant that serves good food. I like their French Onion Soup, too. (I love good French Onion Soup!)
