Facebook page gone?

This is actually regarding a company Facebook fan page, but I am really hoping someone here can shed some.light for me.

The Facebook page just disappeared today. No notifications to the Admins, no emails saying if it was pulled, spammed, reported, nothing. Worst possible time, of course.

Have you seen this happen before? How long was it down? Any idea what the site owners had to do to get it back up? Anyone know a way to expedite a "page missing" report submission to Facebook on a Saturday evening?

I know I got notification that my NICU Family Support group page was giong to be archived if it wasn't updated to a new format.... maybe thats what happened to your page?

Are you sure it hasn't been turned into a "Group"? I've noticed a heap of pages I was a fan of have become Groups recently. Was it something that could be deemed controversial?

I still see it, but it is going to be archived and the new group function will take it over. Hope the admin switches it.

Thank you for the input. At this point they are thinking a rival got it taken down, at least temporarily, right when there is a big announcement forthcoming. Hopefully it gets figured out quickly.

did you have it as a Page with admins? Some people will make a page and make it as an individual one instead of a business or group page and that will result in them removing the page.
