Difference between a mod and a mentor?

I'm so sorry if this has been answered somewhere already; I checked through all the stickies (I think!) and couldn't find anything.

I've noticed there are members who have a medal showing they're a mod (and I was able to find the list of mods in one of the stickies, thanks!) but I've also noticed members with "mentor" medals. What is the difference between the two, and is there a list of mentors anywhere?

Thanks so much if anyone can answer or point me to a post I've missed!

I'm going to quote Anne, the Site Owner on this one:

Quote:
"The mentors are the ones in charge of showing people the ropes and explaining things to them. Advisors are more oriented towards dispensing cat related advice. Moderators/super mods/admins are the group of people who manage things on the whole, monitoring threads and taking care of things in general."
If you go to the main forum page, at the bottom of the forum list, you will see "View Forum Leaders". If you click on that, it will tell you who is who. Hope that helps.
