Yay! I remember how happy everyone in Tucson was when it rained, for those of you who follow the news Tucson had some horrible fires last month. I bet your friends in Canada are jumping for joy like we were.

Well, the rain is apparently a mixed blessing. The thunderstorms have sparked 30 new blazes, sparked by lightning. And the wind associated with the storm has expanded the existing large fire north of Kamloops.

There is some news that is not bad, some people are being allowed to return home, still under evacuation alert. However, about 5000 people are still not home yet, and the people have no idea if their houses are still standing.

Hissy's friend is out of the line of any of the fires for now.
