Sophie the (foster cat) Himalayan

Probably the first time she's been able to sit in the sunshine for years! She lived in the basement, and while yes I have "basement cats" they have access to multiple windows with sunshine - she didn't have that.

Her purrsonality is purrfect, it's just her health that's 'flawed'

Oh she's so gorgeous. I'm so happy for here that she can be where every cat deserves to be- comfortable in the sun.

Sophie is gorgeous! I consider her my namesake because my middle name is Sophie!

She looks so trusting. The poor girl had a terrible life before you took her in. Imagine, a basement without windows. The poor girl

Does she like to watch the birds and such?

I call her my hairy ray of sunshine....
She has such a purrfect purrsonality - so mellow, non-aggressive, just go with the flow. Loves attention & she can be a bit of a chatter box.

I'd REALLY prefer her to not stay, & it's only because I love her. She's a high maintenance girl in terms of grooming, so not up my alley. I also really don't need another cat in my household (fewer would be better). But we're not out of the woods healthwise & if it came down to euthanizing her or me keeping her/giving her what time I can I guess she'd stay. I just can't live w/ myself if I euthanize them w/o trying. She has a dental monday & I'm going to pay out of my pocket to do bloodwork, as I know the shelter can't afford the extra expense.

I'll just FedEx her & Squishy to you.
So far she's not grasping following the birds. She can't follow toys well when I wave them around, maybe b/c of her crossed eyes?
Anyways - so far she's just basking in the sun.

Also, the blue from the fabric really brings out the blue in her eyes.
