Hats off to San Antonio, Texas, for taking violence against animals seriously and punishing the perpetrator with something more than a slap on the wrist. I hope this is the start of a trend that will spread to the rest of the country.
SAN ANTONIO -- "Three years after he was arrested for cat mutilation, 21-year-old Austin Patterson was sentenced to eight years in prison.
