Thanks everyone,
We are excited and Aaron is getting into alot more than i thought he would and i am very happy about that.
I was looking at wedding dresses online and he was putting his opinions in on what he wants to see me in lol kinda cute.
We are doing our own cooking and he has a huge BBQ menu planned which doesn't suprise me since he loves cooking.
It is alot of work still for a small wedding...So far we have about 12 people and i expect a few more,Hopefully no more than 15ish lol.

Awww, congrats honey! And, it doesn't matter how big or small it is, it is still a wedding!!! It's great that he's so involved in it. My husband surprised me too when it came to planning and it was so fun...and so stressful, but it was worth it. If you're doing all the cooking yourself just try to recruit people to help. It's your special day and you want to enjoy it, not sweat away at the BBQ pit. And remember, we want pics!!!!!

We have tons of people wanting to help cook....We will prepare everything the day before(like my famous potatoe salad and macaroni salad),We even have a few friends bringing over bbqs to help.
Well our numbers have jumped to 21 includeing some of my family that i really did not think would wanna drive the 8 hours, but we are okay with that.
I have looked at dresses online and have found my perfect designer that sells dresses here in Edmonton at the shop i wanted to go to,aaron wants to see me in chiffon dress with a right shoulder strap and told him i would take it into consideration when buying my dress lol.
We are actualy having a small wedding party too, even though it was not planned but me and his sister are close since she cared for me in the hospital after my back surgery and she is my maid of honor and 2 very close friends are brides maids.
Aaron has his men picked out too and our colours are a plum purple(my favorite colour) and black(his favortie).

15 people sounds AMAZING! Like a wedding dinner party - I wish I could do that. My family alone is over 40 people - just aunts & uncles & first cousins!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Lol if i went and invited my whole family the numbers would easily reach over 200 probably closer to 300.
But with my close immediate family it's 8 people.

I am so happy for you (and a little jealous, ok ALOT jealous).

Craig and I have been together for almost 11 years and I want to get married sooooo bad and your small wedding sounds absolutely PERFECT!

I can't wait to hear more about your plans and of course see lots of pics

OMG i am frustrated....Everyone is making more of a deal then we planned.
I invited my niece but now her mother wants to go and buy flower girl dress.....We never planned on any of this and our numbers have gotten to be alot more than we planned or our place can handle.
It seems if i invite 1 family member 3 seem to reply saying they are coming
I wanna scream right now and Aaron is starting to stress out too,Not what we wanted at all.

I can sympathize.
Our wedding took on a life of its own and morphed into a three headed monster.

I survived by focusing solely on mine and hubby's clothes.
I went the ebay route, saw lots of cute cocktail length wedding dresses, but being as we were married in November, I went cathedral train, still, can't beat custom made for $125 shipped.

i am finally relaxed as Aaron as has finally chosen his band but i am having issues...I have some really bad metal allergies so i am limited t the band i want and feeling confused about it...Everything i love and want i do not think i can wear.
That sounds familiar. Usually 14 or (even better, but softer) 18 carat gold, platinum or titanium are okay. A thin band would probably be advisable, too. Or you could go with something like jade.
