So Dorothy has a runny/goopy eye. It's her left eye. I noticed it on Friday. It's not horrible, but we'll wipe it a few times a day when we notice it's runny or she's winking. Poor girl! Sometimes the fluid is clear, sometimes it's reddish-brown. If it's herpes, then I'm just waiting for Genever's eyes to start running, since she grooms Dot's head/face a lot....
I have to call the vet tomorrow to order a refill of her thyroid pills so I will also ask about the eye. I did a search and I'm thinking l-lysine of some sort should hopefully help, but I will ask the vet too.
