What do you think?

I guess there's no way to really know the answer to this, but I'd welcome your opinions. Remember the neighbor's cat? (The one we tried to have spayed that the vet found out the hard way was already spayed?) Well, she's still at our house often, usually only going home at night. Speck hates her. Sometimes, DH goes out to pet her and Speck goes ballistic when DH comes back in...hissing and acting like he's going to attack. However, when I pet her, Speck doesn't react this way. He may give me the cold shoulder, but he never spits at me. Why do you think he has so much more of a reaction when DH is doing "wrong" in his eyes?

If DH is Speck's beloved pal, no wonder he gets so upset being so friendly with the intruder! I'd advise your DH not to act so "accepting" of the neighbor's cat.

Thank you for answering. I was hoping you would say that Speck wouldn't spit at me because he is a Mama's kitty, but you are probably right. DH is the Cat Whisper.
