Is this realistic?

Bad news....

I have to give up Patch. My life circumstances have changed dramatically and I have to move in with my sister for quite awhile. I'm asking friends and this is what I wrote...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm putting this out there in the hopes someone can help me.
Situations have changed and I have to go to my sister's for quite some time. She won't let me bring the cat.
What I propose is this...
What I'd like to happen is you take the cat in for a period of not more than 8 months (end of the year) and I'll take him back at that time or sooner when I can move. I will buy his food and litter since I'm pretty specific on that. I will also pay for vet visits and emergencies. I will stay in contact with whoever takes him. I really don't want to give him up completely and I'll want to visit him.
He is good with dogs and other cats. Rambunctious as kittens are. He is almost 8 months old. He has a problem with play-biting that I haven't been able to break. He loves his little mice toys and laser. Not declawed, but have been trimming his nails. Neutered.
Please help if you can..
Thank you,
Keith
Am I being realistic in the hope that someone would do this?
Oh no hun,I am so sorry that this is happening.I think what you have wrote is fantastic,basically you just need a foster carer for Patch until you can take him back and it would be fantastic if a friend of yours could do this so you can see him a lot. I think what you are offering is great and I really hope you find someone soon.Sorry again hun,please keep us updated.Wish I was closer,I would help.xx
I think your proposal is very good. I hope Patch gets a good foster parent while you are resolving your own issues. Good luck!
I'm so sorry that you have to give up Patch for awhile> But at least you know that you'll get him back: that should give you some comfort - that and knowing that you can visit him.
I think what you wrote is just fine. I hope you can find someone reliable to take him in for you.
Oh Keith!
I wish we lived closer; We'd care for your baby until you could get him back. I wish your sister would change her mind.
It's a good letter and I hope that somebody will take your baby.
Are there any good no kill shelters near you. Maybe you could board there. If you could, offer not only total coverage of all expenses, but a bit more for their organization.
All these organizations are hurting for funds, so if you could give a bit more money wise, that may be very appealing to them.
I sure feel bad for your situation. Will keep you in my prayers.
So sorry to hear this. I hope you can find a good temporary home for your Patch, and I also hope your situation improves sooner than you anticipate!
That's really tough. I'm so sorry you and Patch have to go through this.
I really hope you can find someone to take care of him temporarily. The deal you are offering is very fair, and should make a cat person want to help, if possible. I would do it myself, except I live so far away. And my crew would be so shook up by another. But, still, I would do it for someone and the cat.
So, I really hope you find someone, and that it is close enough that you can visit Patch very often. And I hope your situation changes soon and you can have him back.
Well, Patch is back with the lady I got him from. Whether or not I see him again is left to be desired. Either way, I know he will be well taken care of. I know if I don't get him back, it wasn't meant to be. I sure will miss him though...
If I don't get him back, I will acquire another kitty...
