Red bump in corner or her eye.

This morning I noticed that Mischief has a red bump in the corner of her eye. Any ideas of what it could be


sorry this is the best picture i could get of her eye. it is right in the corner there. we had to bribe her with treats in order to get the picture

Looks like an inflamed gland, I would get her to the vet.

I have no idea what it could be, poor baby, yes she should be seen by a vet.

Our vet isn't open on the weekends. But I am planning on making the appointment tomorrow. But on the good side.... Her eye looks a lot better today. Even if it's not there tomorrow I am definitely making the appointment.

well i know its been 2 weeks but we just took miss to the vet today. that bump had gone completely away so my mother didnt want to take her in. Miss is her cat. well it came back huge!! well we took her in today. i actually tossed my phone to my mom and had her call the vet.we got in within the hour. well the bubble was drained. they are going to test the fluid. but miss was given eye drops to be in 3x daily. also got vaccinated (she was overdue) dang mother. lol. she forgot the last appointment. miss was also treated for tapeworm. we have a follow up on thursday with the vet who specializes in eye problems just to hear results from her fluid test. (from the eye). i hope everything is fine now.

but one question........ the label on the eye drops say a few drops 3x daily. HOW MANY IS A FEW!!!?? lol does anyone know? id call the vet but thel closed at 2:30 today

What kind of eye drops are they? The eye drops I've used for my cats have called for two drops per eye three times a day.

a couple = 2; a few = 3, usually

Thank you. I am going to call the vet tomorrow morning to find out for sure first. I dont want to take any chances
