Hey guys! I havent been on the board in for ever! But I'm back!
I volunteer at my local humane society and also foster. I got 3 babies in today. Unfortunately, we don't know the age (I'm thinking less than 4 days old because umbilical cord is attached.) or if they were able to get colostrum from Mom.

They came from a really bad situation. An elderly gentleman who hoarded. All of the rescue cats had upper respiratory issues and they think these babies do too.

Was able to get some kmr in them and they all urinated but no bowel movements yet though one had a bowel movement on its on while we were still at the shelter.

This are the smallest kittens I have had that havent been tube fed.

Thanks Kalie. I'll post a picture later. 2 grays and one black. The two grays cry a lot. LOL the black eats and then knocks right out.

Havent been able to get a full 4 cc's done any of them yet. Was worried because even when I was stimulating them there was no solid elimination. Finally 2 of the 3 eliminated but the stool was hard as rocks and looked like it was tinged with blood.

The third just strained and strained but wasn't able to eliminate. Will try again after next feeding. Going to make his formula with a little more water this time. Will check in with the vet tech tomorrow.
