Question of the Day: Thurs. May 12 2011

Good morning.

Nothing special today, just a repeat question since we've gotten a lot of new members since I last asked.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If so, of what??? If you care to share that is.....please do not think you have to share the meaning of them if you don't feel comfortable.

I have 2 tattoos and have no piercings now, but I used to have many!

I have 8 tattoos. In the order that I got them...

1) The Chinese symbol for "friends" on my left upper arm. (My best friend has the same one on her shoulder blade and we got them together.)
2) An Egyptian ankh on my back upper right shoulder blade.
3) A cats eye with tribal on either side on my lower back.
4) A sleek black cat on the back of my neck.
5) My Imhotep on the side of my right calf!
6) A heart on my lower right arm with paw prints in it and around it writing that says "Cats Leave Footprints on my Heart".
7) On my upper right arm I have a full picture of a cat in a garden looking at a hummingbird.
8) On my left calf I have the Egyptian cat Goddess Bast in front of a pyramid.

I have 9 piercings:

2 in each earlobe, one in my upper left ear, my nose, my right eyebrow and both of my nipples.

Ears 5 holes each, nose two holes, tongue, navel, nipple.

25 tats: Back (both shoulders), upper arms (at the shoulders) upper arm (bicep), forearms (outter and inner), left inside wrist, left hand (thumb/forefinger webbing), left hip (front), upper right thigh (two), both calves (outter), left ankle (inner), neck (both sides and nape), head (both sides), and both breasts.

YES!!! I have one tattoo. It is on the back of my left shoulder. It is about four inches around and it an angel with large wings hovering over looking down. And I then have my dogs name, WILBUR, (the love of my life) just below where the angel is looking. I got that three years ago. My dog means the WORLD to me and has failing health issues since he was seven years old. He is now twelve and a half and I thank God for every day I still have with him. I am thinking of getting another tattoo in is honor. He is a very, very, very special dog, a Jack Russell Terrier.

Oh, I have double pierced ears too

I would love to see what the #7 looks like, only if you want to share, you don't have too. But I bet I would love that tattoo. Hummingbirds have a very deep meaning to me, as do cats (of course) and gardens. Must be a very cool tatt.

Congratulations at the brave persons who loves the Tattoos!...

Answering.... I have not any tattoo because I afraid at the neddles!....

not piercen or any others holes in my body than the naturals........

Two holes in each ear, four tatts!

1. A butterfly with wings that are treble clefs on my right calf, symbolizing freedom through music.
2. On my inner wrist and curving around over the back of my hand, a treble clef with three staff lines (symbolizing the Holy Trinity) and multi-colored stars.
3. On my upper back between my shoulder blades, a symbol from the insanely popular computer game Starcraft. This is where DH first asked me out. We knew each other in person, of course, but he took the time to make this elaborate map... it was so sweet!
4. On my left foot, a collage- a circus rose, a stargazer lily, a treble clef, a crow, and a butterfly. This is a memorial for both my grandmothers, who passed away last year. The flowers are for each of them, the treble clef because they always supported me in my music, and the crow and the butterfly symbolize the fact that life is short and people can leave us at any given moment- so take advantage of every second you have with the people you love. Someday, they will be gone.

I have 8 piercings (3 in each ear, my nose, my belly button). I don't have any tattoos; I not opposed to them, I just haven't found one I love enough to tattoo on myself at this point.

I have a tiger on the left side of my back a wolf howling at the moon on the right side of my back 4 paw prints going across my stomach (I will have Jasmine's name put there as a tribute to her, she crossed the bridge monday night). My ears are pierced 2 holes each and my belly is pierced. I definetly see more tattoos in my future.

I have a toe ring tattoo. But my hubby has many tattoos, One of this is my hand print over his heart. He says that one is his favorite!

Thank you sweetie! My brother is a tattoo artist, so I get deals. Most of my tats were birthday/Christmas gifts.

He actually drew that tat as a picture that he drew and had framed for me as a birthday gift years ago. I have always loved it, and asked him if he would do it as a tat, making the cat have a likeness to Pria. Love how it turned out. I'm actually having it expanded on soon to go up a little more on my shoulder as well as add more to it on the back of my arm.

All I have any more is one set of holes in my earlobes. I used to have a second set above them, but I felt like it looked too immature on me (I wouldn't think that about anyone else, just on myself personally) so I let those fill in a couple of years ago. My naval was also pierced for a while but I got bored with it and took it out as well about a year ago, and I'm pretty sure it's filled in.

No tattoos. I really want a specific literary quote and a small bird on top of my foot (and probably another quote and small image - not sure what - on top of the other foot) but I've heard the top of the foot is one of the worst places to get a tattoo pain-wise and that it's super painful, and I'm a total wuss with the lowest pain threshold ever, so that's held me back from going for it.
