I went out and bought a beautiful Betta I've named Theo Van G. Turtle couldn't wait to "greet" him. I don't think she understands he can't really "come out to play." Theo goes to the side of the tank and teases her. I eventually had to put him in a safer place

Hehe!! I think her expression and focus in the very first pic says it all! She's so beautiful!

My cats loved it when I had lots of Bettas! There were a couple Bettas that would go right up to the edge of their tanks to see the kitties. It was too funny.

used to "love" his betta brothers. He'd stay right next to me while I was cleaning the bowls. I think he was hoping I'd drop them, so he could eat them
I wouldn't even attempt to have fish with Luna and Midnight. At least not until they calm down some more.

She's gorgeous! In the first picture, she's saying, "Hmmmm, what do we have here?" And in the last picture, she's saying, "Yep, we can be friends!"

How old is Turtle? I forget. She's really beautiful.

And welcome, Theo!

Thanks guys. I think she's about 2 years old. She so tiny. The biggest thing on her is her tail. And it's not just fur--it's very meaty!!
Has to be hard for her to carry it around all day. My friend moves to Florida on the 29th of this month--but emotionally I think he's all ready gone. I told him that he's more than welcomed to come by and see her, but he says it would be too painful. that makes me sad...He gave up something he truly loved so that I would be happy. Friends like that just don't come along too often--if ever.
