So my cat had tapeworms in Jan. I got drontal, and that
took care of that. Now I noticed a tapeworm again today.
I realize I could get more drontal & take care of them no problem.
But I have some concerns and I'd like to hear some of your opinions out
there. Drontal is an antibiotic btw ( I apoligize for what I'm about to say)
First off, doctors are morons. I have a strong instinct that veterinarian are
also dumb. I know this because I suffer with an intestinal disorder today because doctors blindly follow what drug companies tell them.
There's 10 trillion bacteria in everyone's intestinal tract, and yes similiar bacteria exist in animals. Anti = against biotic = life. When you take an antibiotic it doesn't distinguish between the good & the bad, and basically acts as a nuke and destroys everything in its path. Those 10 trillion bacteria are important for your health. Intestinal flora, as they are called, are very important to your health, and are now being called by alot of doctors as the real brain of the body, as they are argueably more important to your health than anything else.
When my cat took drontal the first time, I noticed some diarrhea shortly after. A common symptom called anti-biotic associated diarrhea. Alot of research is also coming out about vaccinations. Showing that they act as
an immunosuppressants, and cause alot of other problems also.
I've been on this forum enough to know that everyone is doing what they think is in there pets best interest. I don't question that, I just question
whether alot of you realize what that is. Vets are no different than doctors,
they work for drug companies. Pet has a problem, they look in there drug
manual and provide the solution. Years later the pet has more problems,
and the owner doesn't realize it could be related to some antibiotic taken years ago, and just assumes another health problem. Thats the best part
of intestinal diseases. Its a degenerative disease and takes years for serious
symptoms to show up. Because of the time lapse, nobody thinks it could
be the drug they took 5 years ago, responsible for there problems. In addition the drug companies make more money when they can sell more drugs to treat these intestinal disorders.
I do apoligize for angering anyone. I'm just alittle frustrated dealing with my
own health problems, and now thinking I may give my cat the exact same problems as I don't even need to ask the vet, I already know there answer
to tapeworms will be antibiotics.
