This might seem like a silly question, but it involves a family member's birthdate. I will explain...my family member will be 33 years old this year and when you add up the numbers of his birthdate which is 11/11/11, you get 33. Also he was born at 9:09 a.m. And of course 3 times 3 equals 9. I think all of this seems kind of weird. I hope I making sense, but I am wondering if these numbers have any special meaning for my family member.

Technically the year is 2011, not "11", so it doesn't really add up to 33.

you get 33. Also he was born at 9:09 a.m. And of course 3 times 3 equals 9.
You can also choose to add.....
3+3 = 6
9+0+9 = 18
9+0x9 = 81 Then of course 8+1 = 9 or 8x1 = 8 or 8-1 = 7 etc

Numerology is all about manipulation of numbers. And if you want to get a specific number, all you have to do is the right combination of "dropping off digits" (such as turning 2011 into "11", and using basic combinations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

I was born on the 12th month, 12th day, at 12 seconds before 12 midnight.
The exact time was noted since my mother was superstitious and didn't want me born on the 13th.

I'm going to have a party on my birthday next year 12/12/12!

I studied numerology a bit when I was a teenager but, like astrology, it has no basis in real science. My personal feeling is that numbers are significant only if we make them so -- like a Freemason building sevens into the measurements of a temple, or a gambler playing his supposedly "lucky number" in roulette.

And there may be a sort of placebo effect, as well. For example, if you rent an apartment because you like the numbers in its address, then you may tend to attribute every good thing that happens to you while living there to your "lucky" numbers. If you book a flight based on the numbers in the departure time and it doesn't crash -- voila! Lucky numbers!

Having said all that... can't help it, I do like the number nine.

i was very into numerology for a couple years and then moved on to tarot. like natalie said, you can manipulate numbers to kinda get what you want.

depending on what you want to know, you can find it out buy your name (because each letter is a number), your birthdate, your nickname..all kinds of stuff. ive done it many times for myself and my friends and it is at least 90% right each time. i find it very interesting..if even just for fun.
