Maybe she was just feeling up to a walkabout. Those hit me sometimes too.

When I've had cats get out, they always came back and seemed so unconcerned about the whole thing.

That's the truth!

I normally don't sound an alarm, but she's usually right there wanting food first thing in the morning, and then when hours pass with her not showing up, that is cause for concern. She slept on my bed all night and never once begged to go out.
