Two of my six cats are over weight. They are all "free-feeders". My remaining four cats like to nibble but are not over weight.

My vet said to feed them "light Iams Furball" dry food. Are there a lot of fillers in "light" diets? and what about nutrients? Opinions of "light" and Furrball" diets, please.

Personally, I feed hairball treats. They seem to work. Light diets, hmm, sounds suspicious. I would carefully read the ingredients, it should have some type of meat listed first, not meal. I would recomend Royal Canin Slim. It isn't full of fillers, and the other cats, should still be at the same weight. You might try mixing foods. You could try some regular kibble mixed with the slim food. Just look around. I'm sure there is something out there.
