I've been trying to get my cats on a high quality wet food (one of them is a Fancy Feast addict). I tried Merrick, and they weren't crazy about it. But they seem to really like the Weruva. Does anyone have thoughts on this brand? The ingrediants seem very good, but I just noticed that it's from Thailand. That worries me a little. Anyone???

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I take it as yours love food that is in chunks/shreds? Nightmare is not a huge fan of Weruva, or any chunky food, so I haven't done much research about them. However, perhaps this list will help?
Here is a list of wet food that is in chunks/shreds (vs. pate):
-Innova Flex
-Nature's Variety Homestyle
-Weruva
-SOME Merrickflavors (some are pate and some are chunks, check labels or experiment)
-Wellness POUCHES
-Blue Buffalo healthy Gourmet
-By Nature Goldleaf selects
-Soulistic (Petco "brand" which is I think actually made for them by Weruva)

There is another thread on this site I believe that discusses Weruva. Maybe it's not on this site but a poster had posted a quote from the owner of the company stating his confidence in the safety of the food and outlining the procedures taken. Anyway, without going into detail, please do not assume Thailand is a bad place just because it's Asian like China. Don't put them in the same class. Some of the practices we use here in North America scare me (i.e. rendering plants).
I feed this brand - my cat loves it. I just don't feed it too much because it's expensive and has a lot of fish-based flavours. But I don't have any worries about the safety.
I don't know why people assume just because a country is asian that all asian countries have the same dirty practices as China. Most of our pet's dishes and your dishes are made in China - are you worried about that? They probably contain lead. Many toys are made in China and have been found to contain lead. Hell, infant formula was found to have melamine in it. What a way to cut costs.

| Weruva Cat Food Ratings Customer reviews of Weruva cat food are mostly positive. Many cat owners reported that their cats seem to like the taste of Weruva, and do not have any difficulty digesting the formulas. Also, many cat owners seem to like the grain-free Weruva formulas. A few cat owners reported that their cats had a bit of trouble with bowel movements after being fed Weruva, though it's unclear if the food directly caused this problem. Have you fed your cat any of the Weruva cat food dry or canned formulas? Do you have feedback that could help other pet owners? Please share your review of Weruva cat food! |

Thailand is NOT like China. I wouldn't worry. I feed my cats Soulistic now (similiar to Weruva). I've heard that it is also from thailand.
