Morning all!!

A sunny start to the day. Hoping the below normal temps are behind us for a while (like fall).

Finally transplanted some veggies & herbs and started more seeds.
Took this morning off work as I'm going to a plant sale.

Hoping to do some gardening after work as I have to work 6-noon tomorrow.

Going to wear shorts to work too! Not sure about the knee brace as its neoprene and I have a rash from a heat build up from wearing it. My knee is still stiff though.

My 2nd garden blog was published on container gardening yesterday,


Not much else going on......

Morning all and TGIF!


Not a lot going on today at all. It's going to be a pretty relaxing weekend I think. The weather is supposed to be decent and I REALLY need to get out and just enjoy it. We're puppysitting my aunt & uncle's beagles this weekend as they are going away and we always enjoy that. They love going out for walks!

Good morning everyone! TGIF!!

Today has not been such a good day for me- I was up at 4:30AM or so thanks to jet lag, and when I tried to go for my morning run the pain from my shin splints was excruciating so I had to give up and power-walk instead. shin splints!!

But- it's Friday, I don't have TOO much work to do, and I can spend my day being a lounge lizard.

OUCH shin splints, no fun ....


Gorgeous sunny day here with a very nice breeze. Lots of storms coming over night though. But we need the rain, have not had much and I fear we will be getting a huge payback very soon with lots of heavy rains.

Both DH and I have dentists appts. today. Hope I don't have to hear the "C" word, Crown... been having probs with one of my very large molars with a very old filling.

Then shopping for an accent chair in the family room. The old recliner finally gave out. Maybe out to dinner and rent a movie at home..

SINUSES!!!! OUCH!

Yeah, I woke up around 5AM with insane sinus pressure. I've been having allergies pretty bad all week but I'm not sure if this is just allergies now. Yuck.

Next door is having their garage roof replaced, so I'm listening to that going on...

Anyway, not much planned for today besides homework and doing work for my accounting group project. It's considerably cooler out today than the rest of the week so I think I'm going to make soup for dinner. I mean it's not cold out, high 60s, but not too hot for soup, which I think will make me feel better.

6th of May.. A year ago my dear Casper had to be put to sleep.

I don't know if I had "mourning" written all over my face because a friend of mine who I hadn't seen for few months suddenly started to talk about death with me.. He really opened all of his wounds about our friend's suicide (which happened last autumn) and other stuff. Other than this sad anniversary, I did have a nice evening.. Until another friend totally crossed a line with some nasty stuff she did and said to me because she was mad at someone else... I don't know what has gone into her lately. At least the weather was nice.

I'd better stop before this turns into a novel. Hope you all had a nice Friday and weekend.
