Ive had the fatal errors when clicking view new, then the odd database error when completely refreshing
post #2 of 32
I know admin likes to be advised of these issues. Nothing but trouble here this morning. Forum hangs me when I try to reply, or gives me the error message after 5 minutes of hanging, can't use smilies unless I refresh....

All other sites I am visiting this morning are fine so it's not my computer or ISP.

Huh, normally when people are having issues I am too, but I seem to be running fine this morning.

Odd. I've merged the threads. I never look in Tech Talk because I never know the answers.

Let's see if anyone else has issues.

Still doing it, tonight. but only sometimes, not every time
post #10 of 32
Still doing it. Sometimes works as it should, the next second can't post a reply or can't load a reply page, smileys don't work unless I refresh, error messages. Really keeps me from wanting to even try, it's so frustrating. No other site is giving me trouble.

I got an error message today, too - here it is (maybe this will help someone figure it out):

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 3670016) (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/tcs/public_html/forums/search.php(3007) : eval()'d code on line 27

That was the error I was getting

Oh, and pressing "Refresh" seems to work. It doesn't look like a big problem...
Its doing it right now. Have to refresh several times for the memory and/or database errors to go away.

I had one fatal error message yesterday, but as soon as l refreshed the page it was fine and has been since?.

Previewing a message or a post seems to give me problems these past couple of days

Still having a lot of problems with this site. It's a gamble whether any given thread, reply or anything else will work from one minute to the next. It's getting really really annoying. Can the mods let Anne know?

It happened to me a few minutes ago. It was the first time.

That's long since been done.

I've been having trouble with pages not loading properly, but have only gotten one or two fatal error messages.
Haven't gotten any 'fatal' messages but sometimes my browser won't display the TCS page I'm trying to access. Instead it gives me a white page with an error message up top. Today seems okay-ish. Only one page failed to load, so I did an F5 reload. Loaded at least 20 pages normally today.
Still having a lot of trouble. Slow slow slow loading time, pages needing refreshing.....no fatal errors today I don't think, but the slowness and refreshing is extremely aggravating.

Touch wood its been ok but so saying that I've been using my phone instead
post #26 of 32
Still doing it. At least every other time I click on a thread or a reply option I get the "this session has timed out" message, or it just hangs, or fatal error message. Continuously have to refresh. Have to remember to save every reply before I hit submit in case it's lost, which it is practically every other time.

It is not my computer or browser as I am not having this problem anywhere else. The problem is about to drive me away from here for a long time and hope it's fixed when I come back, as I don't need this kind of blood pressure raising aggravation at this time, life is hazardous enough as it is these days.

I don't know when the move to the new server is supposed to be; the last I heard was "soon". otto, have you logged out, cleared your browser cache, and then logged back in again?

Now why didn't I think of that! Much better now, thank you!

This is an error stating that the server is running out of memory. Because it is happening on the includes its possible that some plugins are causing it. However since I don't have access to the vBulletin code I couldn't say for sure.

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...t-of-Memory%29

The admins can try to contact the host to up the memory in the php.ini for the site as well.
