Morning all!


I believe Nat is on vacation, so I figured I'd start the daily thread today so we can all touch base.

Not much going on today really. Rain, rain and more rain! I've been feeling a little couped up, and I really want to get out and enjoy some nice weather. Hopefully soon.

STILL on kitten watch with foster Portia. All the signs are there, but she's cooking them nice and well!

Afternoon all

I havent got anything planned for today, other than a bit of chilling after work for the past few days, however im back tonight for a staff meeting, then back till i dont know when but it means im getting the hours

Morning all!!

I was going to start a thread today but I my laptop and internet connection were acting up so by time I switched to my desktop this was already started!

I didn't post yesterday am as I had to switch my hours at the last momemt but I did something to my right knee monday afternoon what I do not know but when I got up from the dinner table I could not put any weight on it. So I put the brace on (left over from a years ago ski mishap) and wore that all day trying to keep weight off that leg.
It still hurts and I'll ice before work don't know what I did.

So its a (finally) sunny day with temps near normal. After work I'm driving to a stable to get a load of composted cow manure. I think I'll just unload quickly in a pile and tarp it as rain Thursday.

Not much else going on.

Thanks Kailie for taking the lead. Another gorgeous sunny day here and will be getting into the fifties. We are unseasonably cool here in Chicago but I am enjoying it. Sunny and sixties is my perfect day.

Have to get my car in for emissions testing today. That should go quickly, I hope. Lots of errands on the agenda today. And a number of dogs to walk. Looking forward to watching American Idol tonight

Rainy day here as well, I'm actualy enjoying it.
Got all the kitty litter boxes cleaned and getting ready to clean out the guinea pigs. Always something to do!!

I am babysitting 2 little boys today and just waiting for my own 3 to get home since every Wed is half a day

Hope you guys all enjoy your day

It is a cloudy day. I am happy to hear the birds singing. The kitties are having a great time watching them at the feeder. I am getting a little grumpy Jim has been home for about 5 weeks since he got hurt at work. He is starting to get on my nerves. Between doctor appointments, physio drivng back and forth to the city. Raising 3 kids. I feel like I don't have a moment to myself
