I have been a foster home for pregnant cats and nursing mothers for about 6 years and have seen many litters being born and grow up.
Well at this current time due to my rental situation i am not able to foster........I really wanna though.
I miss fostering and seeing kittens being born and kittens in general,And i think Stewie misses it too as he was always very welcoming to the new fur friends that came into our home.
Hopefully by the end of summer i will be able to start fostering again.
I was also a foster home for beagles and pit bulls,so i miss that too

I too am a foster mom, and I know exactly how you feel. In my previous rental situation I had to stop for awhile as well and missed it SO badly. Now I'm in a great living situation where I have 2 rooms in which I can foster, so in 1 room I have a mom and her 4 six week old kittens and in the other room I have a beautiful pregnant girl who is ready to have her kittens ANY time. I know that as hard as it can sometimes be, I reallly miss fostering whenever I take a break. Hopefully your situation will soon change where you can foster again, but in the meantime, think of all of the babies you have helped in the past. Where would they be without you?

After watching a litter of kittens being born for the first time in my life just a few weeks ago and watching them interact with their mom for their first days/weeks of life, I can completely understand how you would miss it. I would love to foster but our house is full to the brim with all of our own kitties (and the dog too!).

Do you have an animal shelter or rescue nearby that you could volunteer at until your living situation allows you to foster again? Animal shelters are always looking for folks to help with feeding/cleaning, playing with kitties and walking dogs. A good way to still be involved and help out the animals - they need caring people like you, there seems to be a shortage of that in the world

We do have a shelter but i do not drive and it is not easily accessible by public transit.
I am hoping to be able to start fostering again this August...Just gotta be patient until then.
