I have a programmable Crockpot, and it's more difficult to work than my previous one which had basically 3 settings (picked with a dial turn). I misplaced my manual and on Sunday when I was making chili I spent 1 hour online trying to dig up a copy of the manual. The first place I looked was the crockpot site but they didn't have it. After about an hour and many false hopes, I found a copy that someone uploaded to some obscure site.

However, in the meantime I had sent Crockpot an email asking if they could provide me with a PDF of the manual. I got an email yesterday with a PDF attached.

I love companies who actually care about their customers!!!
Definitely 2 thumbs up to them.

I like to hear about companies actually giving their customers SERVICE. Good to know if I ever have issues with mine, that I can hopefully count on them to help! (now if only your Safeway store understood the service thing...)

In all Safeway has been pretty good to me. They've bent rules and had someone shop for me when I had a broken foot and couldn't get out to do shopping for myself. And one day I miscalculated the delivery cut off by 1/2 hour. The manager arranged for store staff to deliver my order.

I am somewhat put out as to the length of time it is taking them to to a till count though. I get cash back from there every time I shop. This is the first time that I didn't receive my cash and didn't take notice because I was tired/exhausted and in pain and in a rush to get to my ride before they left without me.

I agree! I was in customer service for years, so I know what to expect. That being said, now every time I receive good service, I always tell them so, and will usually tell manager as well, to help make their day!
