Morning all!

It's election day here in Canada so Dana and I will be going to vote here after work and I encourage all of my fellow Canadians to do the same.

It's supposed to be a beautiful day, so I would really like to get out for a walk at some point as well. STILL on kitten watch with foster Portia!
I feel so bad for the poor thing!

Have fun with your training-drink lots of coffee to stay alert!

Its the second day in a row with no rain! Temps are still below normal for the season though.

Have to run some errands before work so I can work out in the yard after work.

Yesterday I was finally able to start my landscaping season and am I bit stiff this morning. Have to buy a new canvas tarp as mine finally ripped and as it was very windy yesterday I'm sure that was part of the reason.
We also rented yesterday morning a sweeper to try to get all the stone out of the grass from the snowplows. It got some out but as we have a big hill it was difficult to get traction so I'm going to spend about 20-30 minutes a day trying to rake more out.

Good news is that the bluebirds are going to nest in the birdhouse by the kitchen window again. Momma bluebird is creating the nest as I type this! The electric company moved the lines across the road and they liked to perch on them so they are adapting to their new situation.

Have a good day!

How nice, hope you have a wonderful week off!!!

GORGEOUS sunny
morning and I am in a very cheerful mood!!!! As soon as I am done with some posting
I will get in my workout. Then many dog walks today and plan to groom my cats later. I always groom them out on my deck this time of year on my patio deck and if it is windy then the hair flys all over the yard
. I think the birds appreciate the hair and wonder if they use it for nests?!

Have a great Monday all

I still have some crazy jet lag... I slept for 12 hours overnight, then took a nap around 2PM and didn't wake up until 6... and then ended up going to bed at 6AM this morning and back up at 8.
I really hope this ends soon, it's pretty annoying... and I feel a nap attack coming on!

Definitely very glad to be home, though!

Morning... Sunny and 72 already, going up to 88 today and tomorrow. Nice!

My agenda for today is school work, job searching, and class tonight. Maybe start some pea seeds too, as I want to have some seedlings ready to plant in a few weeks when it looks like my current plants might be done producing.. Oh I have to pay my car registration too. Yay.

I hope everyone has a good day, happy May!

Today I woke up to the weather radio beeping and going off on a rant about flooding; not the best way to start a Monday!
My niece spent the weekend with me, so today she went to run a few errands with me (I had to get a TB test done to add to my paperwork for the therapy dog work). After we did a few errands, I took her to the huge parking lots/businesses near my apartment and taught her how to drive a bit more. Yesterday was her first time driving (she's 16) and she did wonderful, so I wanted her to get a bit more practice in today while it was a little rainy and I was there to supervise. She did well again and I'm definitely proud of her and that I didn't have to test the efficiency of my car insurance policy!
After she drove us home we made some lunch and then did some of her home schooling work with Ranger beside her to practice his "R.E.A.D." skills (He's going to visit local schools, facilities for the Reading Education Assistance Dogs program, so it's good practice to have my nieces/nephews do homework/read to him.) My sister and other niece came to pick her up a little while ago, so now I'm enjoying my night and keeping my eyes on the news if we get more bad weather.
