Has anyone noticed any changes to Wellness Canned food. I have 4 cats that use to eat it like crazy and all of a sudden none of them will touch it. It doesn't matter what flavor Ive tried them all. Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem but it's with the Wellness pouches. The gravy is more like jelly and the chunks looks different too. It does not matter what flavor or store I buy them from.

It's been a couple years since they were bought out, so they may be trying to get away with cheaper ingredients. I too have noticed some differences

You might want to try Merrick Before Grain. My Jennie is the one eating Wellness, and about 2 months ago I started feeding about half her diet with the Merrick Before Grain. After about 6 weeks, I began to notice a marked improvement in energy level and coat quality.

I mean, I thought she was doing so great on the Wellness, but since adding the BG, well...there is a big difference. I like to feed a variety of foods, but I am going to phase the Wellness out to only once or twice a week I think.

My food controlled diabetic cat was puking alot on it so I pulled him off and onto friskies only. alot of money for something the cat pukes on that much.

I had a some left and my others were not thrilled to eat it like they had been-a few walked away and wet to the friskies...

My 2 eat some Wellness canned along with dry every day. They love the chicken and herring and Turkey and Salmon. They used to like the shrimp, sardine and crab, but will no longer touch it. They did have recall in March and pulled all their canned foods. I wonder if they changed something.

I've never fed any of the fish flavors, so can't comment on those. Wellness guarantees their food so if you find yourself stuck with a bunch of it, bring it back.

If you try the Before Grain, let me know how your cats like it. Again, I only feed the meat flavors, not fish.

I feed Wellness canned in rotation with Evo and Instinct. Have not noticed any changes in my cats refusing it.

My cats get the Wellness grainfree canned (all flavors except no beef) - 2 times a week. There has been no change in my cats' reactions to any of it. They like it a lot, as much as usual.
